Hey, ho, here we go

Met with my doc yesterday evening, told him I wanted to stop the Effexor. After all the horror stories it took me awhile to get the gumption to even make the appointment.

He asked me why, I gave my reasons, and he agreed that it was time.

He gave me three prescriptions: 30 @ 75mg ea, 30 @ 37.5mg ea, and 30 @ 150mg of Wellbutrin. The plan is to do a week or two at 75mg, see how I feel. Then do another week or two at 37.5mg and see how I feel. Then nothing for a week or two, see how I feel. All along I've got the option to kick back up a notch. When I'm off for about two weeks if I want I can kick in on the Wellies or just kind of live like a normal person.

I took my first 75 this morning. I'm waiting for my body to politely ask "what the fuck?" in a withdrawal sort of way. I'm just hoping the effects don't come in the form of rapid pooping, nausea or vomiting. Anything else I can probably handle.
