Jeez... on Saturday my MIL said I was a "hunk". She said this to two other moms after one of them complimented me on my weight loss. Yes, I blushed and hid my face with my hands. Then the three of them talked about "hunks" for awhile as I tried to melt through the floorboards or will myself invisible.

Do you have any phobias?

La Cucaracha

I sure do. Roaches. We had them for awhile in an apartment I lived in when I was a kid. I hated the darned things. I'd sleep on my stomach with the blanket over my head because I was scared of them crawling on me at night. And I'd never get up to use the bathroom at night no matter how badly I'd have to go. They really freaked me out. I wouldn't open closets or go into the basement because of them.

And, to make things more odd, I can smell their pheromones. Every once in awhile I'll find myself somewhere and I can smell that smell which only means one thing. And it's usually not long after that I'll spot one. It's happened in restaurants, theaters, swimming pools, warehouses, and in peoples homes. If you've got 'em I'll know. And I won't hang out there for very long.

I actually make a living doing web design. I never thought it would happen but lo and behold after lots of hard work and sleepless nights it finally, finally did. And now I hate the internet.
